Apartment Review for Harbor At Mesa Verde - Costa Mesa, CA

I have lived in dozens of apartments over the years, and this is by far the absolute worst I have ever experienced. I have gone so far as to end my lease early to get out of this miserable place. All the management cares about is their 97% occupancy (i.e. MONEY) so they will never evict tenants regardless of their behavior. If you want to sell drugs, prostitute, play loud music 24 hours a day, leave your barking dog outside all day, have your car broken into on a weekly basis, never be able to find parking, and get towed from your own parking space, then this is the place for you! And that's just for starters. The management will not respond to your service requests until about three months after you submit them. If your neighbors are harassing you, and you tell the management, they will just give you lip service, and feign compassion, so that you leave their office. Then they will do nothing whatsoever to remedy the issues, all the while lying through their teeth, trying to convince you that they're "doing everything they can". If you value your sanity, belongings, and personal safety, do not live here. Did I mention that it is backed up against a construction college? They have construction floodlights that give you near daylight in your home 24 hours a day, and wonderful night construction classes so you get to hear sawing and jack-hammering 24 hours a day as well. Don't take my word for it, go read the pages and pages of reviews at Apartment Ratings Dot Com. I'd post a link, but I'm not sure they allow that in reviews here. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that the management looks for review sites, and "astro-turfs". This means that they come on and give themselves great reviews in an effort to boost their 97% occupancy rate higher. This is the only explanation I can imagine for the one and only positive review here. Just look at the site I mentioned previously, there are literally hundreds of negative reviews.
