Apartment Review for Newport Village Apartments - Costa Mesa, CA

Place looked nice in the daylight. Second day living there I started seeing cockroaches, and a was killing 1-2spiders daily. It was noisy, the water temp fluctuated constantly from hot to cold every couple minutes while showering. Was even scalded once. Maintenance decided to turn off cold water to my building mid morning without any sort of notice, I so happened to be mid shower, horrible. The "secure parking" isn't secure at all. Yes its gated but the gates don't work half the time(just stuck on open), people walk on and off, hop the side gates, and follow other cars in constantly. Power shut off a couple times because it was raining. I was paying my rent during one of the times, and overheard the office staff say "almost every time it rains this happens!" Don't bother to clean on your way out, they will charge you a "cleaning fee" regardless. Just wish I would have listened to other reviews I read on other pages. It was miserable for me, and I've lived in multiple complexes, never with half the issues I had hear. Renters please be ware!
