Apartment Review for Park Center Place Apartments - Costa Mesa, CA

I had a water leak from raining in my living room before Thanksgiving Day. It took 3 weeks to finish completely. 1st 2weeks, they were drying the wall and floor all day long with dusty and noisy dryer. I asked for a room so I can stay while the construction is going on. The management told me to use my insurance to go to hotel. They gave me another offer that I can move to another room but I have to pay deposit and a month rent first. They'll return the money for the old room after constructions are done. But I didn't have enough to do it so I had to stay in the dusty, moldy, dirty, noisy room for 3weeks imagine that.....It was a nightmare. When I come back open the door smells dusty, moldy, stink and made me sick. I had to cook in that kitchen too. The room was totally not human living room. I expected to free rent, not a month at least for the days they took for constructions which is 3 weeks but they only gave me a week free rent with still stained carpet and stained wall. They said they don't have power to do it, the land lord decided only a week free rent even though it took 3weeks to complete. The management said they will clean up completely like when I moved in which it must be. Because the water leak is totally not my fault. They called cleaner company, but it wasn't enough to clean them at all. It was a terrible holiday I have ever had. And that's how this management took care of me so you think when something happened to you. Now I see another water leaks in this apartment complex. The management told me there are camera at parking under the ground, but it doesnt help at all. Two of my bicycles were stolen eventhough I locked with U lock. My plants were also stolen from my patio, too. When I first moved in to this place, my neighbor told me not to put something you dont want it to be stolen at patio. His stuff also stolen from his patio. The maintenance guy is pretty cool, but the manager... Honestly, I cant recomend this apartment.
