Apartment Review for Park Place Apartments - Costa Mesa, CA

These apartments are nice to the eye and management has even started doing some out door renovations. With the particular apartment that I have though, there has been some problems with leaking, damp air and mold. Maintenance did temporarily fix the problem, but the problems came back they are now in the process of fixing the problem for good. This process has taken several months. On the positive side, the grounds are kept clean and are generally quiet. Laundry facilities are available, but usually a lot of the machines are out of order.... The parking situation is OK. Tenants are assigned one parking place per apartment in the underground lot. You have the option of paying $25 per month for an additional spot. Trying to find a parking spot outside of the complex is a chore. The complex is right next to Lyons park, the public library, and a community center. It is also accross the street from 24 hour fitness and a shopping center which includes Sav-On, Rubios, Quiznos and more. It is 3 stop lights away from the 55 freeway. (Very Convenient!!) Overall this is a good apartment to live in-- he convenient location out weighs the facts the apartments are older.
