Apartment Review
I say NO, but you decide

I wish I had found this site before I signed my lease (which is now over and I am moving). I will let the facts speak for themselves. Parking is an issue. I have a non-garage spot and every two weeks someone new has parked in it. Once in a while some one leaves a note and I go ask them to move, but most of the time people do not. I am not a huge fan of having people towed so I spend a little time trying to find the owner and then ask them to move. They are usually at the apartment where the party is. I have had management call the tow truck once because I could not find anyone, but they came for there car before the tow truck did. On the Noise issue I have this to report. There are quiter sections of the complex and there are louder sections. If you are thinking about moving here I would walk around and find the section you would fit into. There are a few water features that have very LOUD pumps. I close all my windows and can still hear it on the third floor. The garages are also loud. Sound bounces and the conversation someone is having below sounds like they are standing next to me. Unfortunalty not everyone is very considerate and people do drive with music blasting late at night. Or you have the trash truck coming 3 times a week at 7:30am, or the car that honks their horn every morning at 7am for the carpool. There is also a car dealer ship on one side of the complex with the garage facing the apartments. It is open to 9pm and sometimes opens at 6am. You do get periodic noise from them and paint fumes when they are painting. I think my immediate neighbors are pretty quite. I can hear the water pipes when the one below me takes a shower at 10pm and sometimes I hear a phone ring next door. Their are college kids living here (OCC across the street). When it comes to them the the only complaint I have is that they are loud coming and going. Yelling on the stairs and such. Or being drunk downstairs by the garages and making a lot of noise. This is a small group of the students that live here, but it has made living here unpleasant for me. The actual apartment itself was renovated before I moved in. I have no complaints about the inside of my apartment. Maintance is friendly but I have never needed anything. Lori was the manager when I was here and she was nice enough. She is not here anymore. The reasons I took the apartment at Sunset Cove was because: I liked the renovation and vaulted ceilings on the third floor, they had garages, they took pets, the leases were from 3-12 months, and Lori was very nice. Living here has made me realize what things are important to me in a living enviorment. Quite and Parking.
