Apartment Review for Villa Venetia - Costa Mesa, CA

Other than the appliances being old, it's over all a quiet place and my neighbors are friendly. We did just have an armed robbery on the property and the management sent out a notice to everyone saying they were going to "beef up" the security...i haven't seen anything to that regard. i feel unsafe as a young female living alone. the security guard is a young girl...i cant imagine her taking down an armed robber any time soon. the parking does suck though. when i moved in in november the rule was "all the open spaces are a free for all" then a month later, they numbered those spots and only 12 were for visitors and those you have to get a pass from the office before they close at 6...not good for us working people. i'd say overall its ok for the money, but i'm sure you could find better.
